What makes KoAssist different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT answers from its general training data, without sources and without reference to specific documents. KoAssist works exclusively with the standards, specs and project documents in your organization, and delivers every answer with file and page number. Plus: hosted in the EU, no training on your data.
Does the AI hallucinate? How reliable are the answers?
Hallucinations are greatly reduced by the source principle: answers are generated exclusively from available documents and always include a source reference. If information isn't in the document base, that is reported transparently. No fabricated answers.
What happens with our internal documents?
For search, a copy of your documents is taken into the KoAssist knowledge base and indexed there, encrypted and exclusively in German data centers. Your source systems remain authoritative: changes and deletions are synced. KoAssist uses your data exclusively to answer your questions. It never flows into model training. On written request, all data is fully deleted within 48 hours.
How long does setup take?
Typically under two weeks. Connecting standard systems like SharePoint, Google Drive or network drives takes a few days.
What does it cost?
We work that out in a short conversation: which modules fit your team and how many people need KoAssist. You then receive an offer tailored to exactly that. If you want to see KoAssist in your own daily work first, you can test it in your company for 60 days.
What happens if we cancel?
Your source systems remain unchanged and authoritative; KoAssist is simply disconnected. The synced copy in the KoAssist knowledge base is fully deleted within 48 hours on written request. No data migration needed, no lock-in.
