What makes KoAssist different from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT answers from its general training data, without sources and without reference to specific documents. KoAssist works exclusively with the standards, specs and project documents in your organization, and delivers every answer with file and page number. Plus: hosted in the EU, no training on your data.

Does the AI hallucinate? How reliable are the answers?

Hallucinations are greatly reduced by the source principle: answers are generated exclusively from available documents and always include a source reference. If information isn't in the document base, that is reported transparently. No fabricated answers.

What happens with our internal documents?

Your documents stay in your systems. Processing happens in German data centers. KoAssist uses your data exclusively to answer your questions. It never flows into model training.

How long does setup take?

Typically under two weeks. Connecting standard systems like SharePoint, Google Drive or network drives takes a few days. Specialized PLM and ERP integrations may add one to two more weeks depending on the system.

What does it cost?

KoAssist starts at EUR 49 per engineer per month on the Solo plan for individual users and very small teams. For engineering departments and project teams, there are flat-rate packages instead of per-seat pricing, regardless of exact user count, typically much cheaper per head than Solo. Onboarding (indexing the document base) and connecting internal systems like ERP, PDM, PLM or CRM are billed separately as a one-time fee, depending on data volume and integration complexity. We discuss specific pricing in the demo.

What happens if we cancel?

Since your data stays in your systems, cancellation is straightforward: KoAssist is disconnected, your data remains unchanged. No data migration needed, no lock-in.
